Certicom and NeoPoint, Inc. Partner to Enable Secure Innovative Wireless Services with Market Leading Smart Phones

NEW ORLEANS, CTIA Wireless 2000, Booth #8449, February 28, 2000 – Certicom, a leading provider of mobile e-business security, today announced that NeoPoint, Inc., a market leader in wireless smartphones and information services, has licensed Certicom’s encryption technology for use in its state-of-the-art smart phones. NeoPoint will utilize Certicom’s industry-leading SSL Plus for Embedded Systems to provide advanced security for enabling unique service offerings on the award-winning line of highly acclaimed NeoPoint smart phones.
