Ericsson Mobile Communications and Extended Systems, a Certicom partner have entered into an agreement whereby Extended Systems' XTNDConnect product will be bundled with select Ericsson phones, beginning with Ericsson's WAP-phone R320. By bundling the XTND Connect products with the R320, mobile workers will be provided with the tools for directly accessing, exchanging, and managing information between their cellular phones and personal computers. Under the terms of the agreement, HP will sell Baltimore Technologies' award-winning UniCERT PKI product through its global sales network. Baltimore UniCERT broadens HP's Internet security solutions portfolio, giving HP customers greater choice and a more complete solution for implementing secure e-mail, secure Web access, virtual private networks, online banking and other Internet-based applications.
